They are restore Haiti long term missionaries this summer- chris goes to new river
We had a busy day yesterday. It was beach day, but that wasn't it for this team they went to the work site, brought food and a brick down before we headed out! Amazing. Great day at the beach, packing and a goodbye time with our new friends and a long final meeting talking through the experience here. Lots of tears and many emotions as we transition from our 8 days here. Today we get up have breakfast, journey 3 hours to the airport, connect to Miami and arrive home at 10:20. Prayers for our travel day. Until next time.... Days 6 and 7: the last work days of the youth Haiti team- So this has to be a quick one guys , sorry I couldn't blog last night but gosh were we exhausted..... The house is lookin good though!! A couple walls are up and now we can all say we can carry bricks on our heads :) I say it's painful, but some people say its much easier than carrying it the " normal way". Other activities today included eating with the feeding program kids and house visits. Colleen and Christy prayed for the sick at a couple of houses, and the Petits and Van Matres met their sponser kids today. Our final day of good hard work was today and we get to enjoy a sunny beautiful beach tomorrow!!! Thank you all for your support and love. We appreciate you guys more than you know! I will definately give you guys some details tomorrow and some more in depth reveals of our wonderful missions trip, but it's late and this girl is calling it quits. Love to you all!
